In the
traditional universities, only 10 + 2 pass students are
qualified to take admission in the degree courses. K.K.
Handique State Open University provides opportunities to
those who have not passed 10+2 but are desirous of
undergoing higher studies. For such persons the university
offers Bechelor's Preparatory Programme (BPP) to qualify
thenselves to take admission in the degree courses. Those
completing 18 years of age will be eligible for enrolling in
Bechelor's Preparatory Programme. BPP will be of six months
duration and the course will be offered and examination will
beheld twice a year (December - January and June - July).
